This notice describes how I, Christina Gegenleitner, process your personal data.

1. Data processing, personal data, purposes of processing, legal basis

We process the personal data you provide or disclose to us only in compliance with data protection, telecommunications, and civil law regulations for the following purposes:

For the execution and handling of orders requested by you or assignments given by you.

For the execution and handling of bookings made by you as well as for fulfilling the obligations of a tourism business (registration law, local/tourist tax, etc.).

Only such personal data is collected and processed that is necessary for the execution and handling of our contractual services (i.e. for contract fulfillment) and/or for the fulfillment of legal obligations, or that you voluntarily provide to us. Personal data includes all data relating to an identified or identifiable person, such as name, address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, age, gender, social security number, video recordings, photos, bank account details, etc.

Providing your personal data is voluntary unless required by law or contract. Please note, however, that failure to provide such data may result in disadvantages, such as the inability to process orders/bookings or delays in processing.

2. Data security

We have implemented appropriate organizational and technical measures to protect your data against unauthorized, unlawful, or accidental access, processing, loss, use, or manipulation. Despite our efforts to maintain a consistently high level of due diligence, it cannot be ruled out that information you transmit to us electronically may be accessed or used by third parties. Please note that we therefore assume no liability for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission not attributable to us and/or unauthorized access by third parties (e.g. hacking of email accounts or telephones, interception of faxes).

For the purposes stated above, we may transfer your personal data to the following recipients:
  • Municipal registration office
  • Legal representatives, debt collection agencies
  • Statistics Austria
  • Tax advisors, auditors
  • IT service providers engaged by me

4. Storage duration

We do not store your personal data longer than necessary to fulfill (or assert) our contractual or legal obligations (or rights) and as permitted by applicable law. In any case, personal data is stored for as long as statutory retention obligations apply or limitation periods for potential legal claims have not yet expired.

5. Data processing when visiting our website www.ergo-life.at

Server log files, contact form

When you visit our website www.ergo-life.at, the website provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files for the purpose of optimizing system performance, usability, creating usage statistics, and detecting, preventing, and investigating potential attacks. This information includes your IP address, browser name and version, the referring URL, and the date and time of access. Server log files are stored for 14 days unless longer storage is required by law or for investigating detected attacks.

If you contact us via the contact form or email, the data you voluntarily provide (name, email address, phone number, message text) will be stored for the purpose of processing your request and for possible follow-up questions. Processing is based solely on your consent, which you may revoke at any time by email. The legality of processing carried out prior to revocation remains unaffected. Such data is generally stored for one month unless longer storage is required for processing, legal obligations, or security reasons.
